Subjectively mapping the town of Mons.
Project realized in the frame of Mons European Capital of Culture 2015.
Each spotlight shows the streets’ crossings. The lighting is a representation of the effervescence of the city during this event. The idea is to create a luminous and warm atmosphere as it is in Mons.
The leds turn on by sector to remind the transition between the day and the night.
The parables disorganize and spread the light differently. They draw attention on the city center.
The electrical circuit is the map. The thin structure enlighten and invade the wall.
