Copper, felt, steel, lead.
2000 x 1000 mm.
To pay attention to the imperceptible.
We often pass by objects without noticing them. But they move and live and we don't see.
This mirror made in copper, hand-polished, holds two distinct parts : one structure made from steel, fixed on the wall a copper shimmering plate attached to another steel structure (which hides the mechanism behind).
The copper plate lays on its gravity center. It is maintained on one line, which created a pendulum effect. The movement is slow, due to the weight of it all, so the mirror reacts at every drift, air flow or vibration.
